NPQ in Senior Leadership (NPQSL)
Become a confident and effective senior leader.
Who is it for?
Teachers who are, or aspire to be, senior leaders with cross-school responsibilities. This may include experienced middle leaders, assistant headteachers and deputy headteachers.
Programme overview
Duration: 18 months, followed by an assessment period
Delivery: Blended learning: online modules, online seminars and in-person conferences
Funding: Fully funded places are available, subject to DfE eligibility and availability
Self-funded fee: £1,090 plus VAT, where a funded place is not available

- Register with the DfE NPQ Registration Service. Register for a national professional qualification
- Ensure you have approval from your Headteacher and Line Manager.
- Accept your course offer by responding to the offer email.
