Dear Prospective Year 12 Students,

Welcome, and thank you for applying to Barking Abbey Sixth Form.

The move from GCSEs to A Level and Vocational study is an exciting step, bringing new opportunities, greater independence, and higher academic expectations.

To help you prepare for this transition, we have provided a range of resources designed to support your development of a successful Post-16 mindset. These materials will help you build the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed for your chosen subjects, while also encouraging you to explore future university, apprenticeship, and career pathways.

You will also receive regular emails explaining which tasks should be completed before enrolment in late August.
