  • Christmas Showcase with Boy Blue

    The Dance Department were given an amazing opportunity to perform in a Christmas Showcase on Sunday 18th December for the UK's leading Hip Hop Company called Boy Blue. After a successful audition process, and such a short space of time to prepare, 9 dancers took the stage and represented Barking Abbey in a phenominal performance. The extremely positive feedback that the department and the students have been getting, is beautifully overwhelming! We have even been invited back to perform with Boy Blue again.

  • Sleeping Beauty

    On Wednesday 30th November, the Dance students went to watch the fabulous Matthew Bourne’s Sleeping Beauty at Sadlers Wells. It was amazing to experience live work together, appreciating dance and discussing our interpretations and opinions.

  • Colin Pond Awards

    On Thursday 17th November 2022 Dance students from Years 7-13 were invited to perform as guests at the Barking Broadway Theatre for the Colin Pond Awards. As always, our students delivered a phenomenal performance that inspired, lifted and entertained the audience.
