Staff vs Parents Exhibition Series – Badminton Showdown

Another fantastic instalment of our Staff vs Parents Exhibition Series took place on Wednesday 15th October – and this time, the sport of choice was badminton!

The competition format saw all participants placed into groups of four, with each parent playing two singles matches against staff members, followed by a doubles match pairing parents and staff together. Players earned three points for a win, and the total points were combined to produce an overall team tally.

What really stood out was the wonderful TeamBA spirit throughout the event. It was fantastic to see staff, parents, and families coming together –sharing laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of enjoyment both on and off the court.

Of course, everyone is eager to know the final result… and we can confirm that the parents triumphed once again! The final score was 45 points to 27, with parents securing 15 wins to the staff’s 9. This means the overall exhibition series now stands at 3–1 in favour of the parents.

We’re already looking forward to the next Staff vs Parents event, which is expected to be football just before Easter. The staff will be eager to claim revenge – not only for this badminton result but also for last year’s 5–0 football defeat!
