Sports Day

Sports Day 2025 saw an incredible attendance from both sites. Preparations by students began weeks in advance, as they carefully selected teams to ensure TeamBA fairness and equal opportunity for all. This resulted in the highest number of students ever taking part in Sports Day.

On Wednesday 25th July, it was the turn of Longbridge students, and on Thursday 26th July, Sandringham students took the spotlight. There were some incredible races and throws throughout both days.

Highlights included Igne running the 1500m in under 5:50 in the scorching heat! The boys’ 1500m was also exceptional, with all year groups pushing each other. Adam followed his borough athletics win with a Sports Day victory, alongside Amir, Joel and Dhian.

On Wednesday, Tareeq won the 100m, while on Thursday, Harjyot took gold in the shot put with a fantastic throw of over 6 metres. The Year 10 boys’ shot put competition was of an exceptional standard, with Ahil throwing over 11 metres and two other students exceeding 9 metres.

The behaviour, energy and effort of all students were impeccable. It was a brilliant display of all our BEST habits.
