Considering a career in teaching? Our three-week Teaching Internship gives you a realistic, hands-on insight into school life, working alongside experienced teachers in a high-performing, diverse secondary school.

Who can apply?

You must be studying for a related undergraduate or master’s degree and be interested in teaching one of the following subjects:

  • Chemistry
  • Computing
  • Design and Technology
  • Languages
  • Maths
  • Physics
What you’ll do
  • Observe lessons and shadow experienced teachers
  • Jointly plan and teach lessons
  • Receive one-to-one guidance from expert classroom teachers and subject specialists
  • Experience the wider responsibilities of teachers beyond the classroom
Payment

£1,365 (£455 per week) is paid to interns on completion of the full three-week internship.
