Considering a career in teaching? Our three-week Teaching Internship gives you a realistic, hands-on insight into school life, working alongside experienced teachers in a high-performing, diverse secondary school.

Who can apply?
You must be studying for a related undergraduate or master’s degree and be interested in teaching one of the following subjects:
- Chemistry
- Computing
- Design and Technology
- Languages
- Maths
- Physics
What you’ll do
- Observe lessons and shadow experienced teachers
- Jointly plan and teach lessons
- Receive one-to-one guidance from expert classroom teachers and subject specialists
- Experience the wider responsibilities of teachers beyond the classroom
Payment
£1,365 (£455 per week) is paid to interns on completion of the full three-week internship.
