  On Sunday 9th February, our Dance Academy alongside a few KS4, competed in their first ever dance competition called Borough's United at Hackney Empire Theatre - Borough’s United is a 25-year-running competition for dancers, poets, MCs and singers, bringing together young people, their families and friends from over 30 boroughs in a peace campaign to end violence, with over 2,500 young people have taken part over the years, including Jermaine Jackman, Little Simz, Leone Lewis, Diversity and Twist & Pulse - Also making Barking Abbey history in the dance department competing in a competition, let alone of this scale.
