Penguin Random House

On Friday 22nd November, the Library Ambassadors had fun unboxing all the amazing books that Penguin Random House donated to our libraries. These included the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, A Murder Most Unladylike series, Maximum Ride series, Percy Jackson series, various works of Shakespeare, The Nine Night Mystery by Sharna Jackson and many, many more! We cannot describe the enthusiasm for these new and highly requested additions – they will certainly enrich our library collection and encourage more students to visit the library and enjoy some quality reading time. 

It's fantastic to see our partnership with Penguin Random House prove to be so beneficial for our students. This latest contribution of books already adds to the thousands of books that we have received from Penguin over the last few years. Reading for pleasure is a significant priority for the school and so a donation like this can only help in our aim to make Barking Abbey a school where everyone reads.
