Eco School

We are thrilled to share that earlier this year; we were honoured with the 'Green Flag Award with Distinction'!

The support throughout this journey has been invaluable in achieving this recognition. We express our gratitude for the commitment and enthusiasm of our dedicated eco-warriors, who contributed their time and ideas to make this achievement possible.

It's astounding to note our progress, considering the Eco Team's inception just over two years ago. From attaining the Merit last year, we've made substantial strides, marking an outstanding total of 196 points this year, surpassing the previous year's 171 points.

Nonetheless, this marks not the end but the beginning of our journey. Throughout this year, we've implemented white eco-recycling bins in every classroom, accompanied by eco signage designed by our students and our finalised Eco Team logo. Our school-wide initiative promotes paper recycling by encouraging students and staff to utilise these white cardboard bins.

Additionally, our Year 12 students recently planted over 50 trees at our Sandringham Campus, showing their eco ambitions.
