Culture Day

Culture Day, held on Friday 23rd, showcased an exemplary celebration of the diverse cultures and vibrant personalities at Barking Abbey. The event was truly remarkable, featuring captivating performances by our students, including singing, dances, religious readings, and captivating poems. Notably, a fashion show, presented by our talented year 12 students that was a real spectacle.

Throughout the day, students engaged in thoughtful discussions on cultural themes, embellishing their classrooms with informative displays and captivating artifacts from various continents and explored why tolerance is necessary in 2023.

As the day drew to a close, our students participated in a very warm picnic, where they shared food between each other and played until the end of the day. The outfits were incredible and we were immensely proud of just how much effort our students and staff put in to make this day such a success.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the staff members for their remarkable organization and facilitation of the diverse activities, as well as our sincere appreciation to the parents for their invaluable assistance in ensuring their children's impeccable outfits and delightful culinary contributions.
