I have recently been in contact with someone who has been told to self-isolate as they have been in contact with someone who has confirmed COVID-19. Do I need to self-isolate?
Current guidance is that individuals should only self-isolate where they have been in known direct contact with someone who has been confirmed as having COVID-19, not someone who is in isolation.
You should ask to be kept informed of the outcome of any test results and if they start to develop symptoms you should contact 111 for further advice.
Please notify the school if you or anyone in your household are instructed to self-isolate, as there may be actions that the school needs to take.
