Year 11 Prom

Our Year 11 Prom was a truly unforgettable evening and the perfect way to celebrate the end of an incredible journey together.

Students arrived in style, stepping out of an impressive collection of luxury and supercars, looking absolutely fantastic in their elegant dresses and sharp suits. It was wonderful to see everyone celebrating such a significant milestone with their friends, families and staff.

The evening began with speeches from Heads of Year, Mr Cope and Miss Agathangelou, who reflected on the students' achievements, resilience and memories from the past five years. This was followed by the presentation of the Year 11 awards, recognising students for their outstanding contributions, personal growth and achievements throughout their time at Barking Abbey School.

As the evening continued, students enjoyed a delicious meal before taking to the dance floor, where they danced late into the evening, laughed with friends and created memories that will last a lifetime. It was a fitting celebration of all they have accomplished and a wonderful opportunity to share one final special moment together as a school family.

We are incredibly proud of every member of the Class of 2026 and would like to thank all the staff who helped make the evening such a success. We wish our Year 11 students every happiness and success as they begin the next chapter of their journey.
