Expansion of the ASD ARP

Barking Abbey are really pleased to announce the expansion of the ASD ARP and its relocation to the Sandringham campus. We have worked hard over the last two years to create a specialty provision for pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder within the school and this news means we can continue to grow the team and serve a large community.

In addition to this we have also launched a pilot CMLD ARP at the Longbridge road site. This facility for pupil’s with moderate learning difficulties will allow them to engage with the wider school while at the same time getting the specialist support and teaching these pupils need.

The school and its Governors are committed to these new ARPs as we see them as the best way to ensure these young people get the support, speciality teaching and wider school opportunities they need to be successful.
